About the Tap Legacy Foundation, Inc.

The Tap Legacy Foundation was founded in 2002 by tap dancers Gregory Hines and Andrew J. Nemr with the goal of building a cultural center in New York City dedicated to tap dance. As we continue towards our main goal we are dedicated to preserving and promoting the full body of work that tap dancers have contributed to over the past 150 years.

To that end we have launched the Tap Legacy Store.
